Ultimate Frisbee Practice, Saturday, September 11th, 3pm

Hello!

Viljami and I are taking charge of the Ultimate team again this year and we're looking forward to another fun filled year.

Our first official practice will be this Saturday, September 11, @ 3pm. It will be held on the soccer field at Undou Koen in Fukui City.

It's still quite hot so practices will be held a little later in the day to avoid the heat.

Don't worry if you don't know how to play Ultimate or how to throw/catch a frisbee. We will go over how to throw, catch, and the rules of the game during practice. After running a few drills we'll play a game. If you have played Ultimate before, we welcome the tips and advice you may have.

We don't go to any tournaments during the fall or spring, however, we do go to a tournament in the summer called the Taj Ultimate Tourney. It is held in Tajima in Hyogo-ken and run by the Tajima JETs. It's a whole lot of fun and the best time ever!! We'll be giving you more details later in the year.

Anyhow, if you can make it this Saturday, please get in contact with me. You don't need to bring any special gear but please bring sunscreen, water, a towel, and shoes (if you have cleats, bring them!) They aren't necessary but having proper gear can help to prevent injury.
