Takahama Hiking and Viking

No actual vikings, sadly.

Takahama is hosting a food and hiking festival on April 28th in Satoyama. Registration begins at 9:30am at the Aoba Fureai Dome.

Hiking begins at 10:00am and the viking (all-you-can-eat buffet) starts at 11:30, right after the hike!
The hike will take you through Aobayama's forest trails and the buffet will treat you to Takahama's local specialties. The hike costs ¥500 per person and the viking costs ¥1000 for adults and ¥500 for children.

Don't feel like hiking for an hour and a half? You can try digging up bamboo shoots, making decorative balls of moss, or planting roses. Workshops also start at 10:00am and cost ¥500. (Rose planting is free)

There will also be stage shows and a small market so come on out and see what Takahama has to offer!

You need to reserve a spot during registration time for the hike/workshops and buffet. All necessary info can be found on the website below so get a friend to help out if you need it!
