Fukui City: Asuwa Shrine Sakura Fest

Standing for about 370 years, come see the Asuwa Shrine and its shidare ("weeping") sakura trees.

The lightup runs from April 1st - April 15th, 6:30pm - 11pm.
The main festival is on April 13th with the main event starting at 1pm.
There will also be a tea ceremony on April 8th from 10am - 3pm.
